Meesho Interview Experience — Selected
I am a final-year B.Tech student at IIT Kanpur with 2 months of internship experience at a FAANG company.
The Meesho interview process consisted of 3 main rounds, along with a non-eliminatory AI interview round.
Round 1 — Technical Test
This round consisted of 3 DSA questions, most of which were on the harder side of LeetCode.
AI Interview — Non-Eliminatory
Apart from the main rounds, there was an AI interview between Round 1 and Round 2.
This round was non-eliminatory and was conducted to give candidates a brief understanding of the interview process.
Meesho also organized Zoom calls to explain the interview structure and set expectations.
Round 2 — Technical Interview
Although this was supposed to be an interview, candidates were asked to solve a problem live in front of Meesho engineers.
The problem was scenario-based and required writing multiple functions to solve it. It also included a bonus component.
The exact question is not remembered, but it was not a standard DSA problem.
Preparation Tip: Practising DSA questions helps, but also be comfortable solving unfamiliar, scenario-based problems. Once the engineers reviewed the solution and were satisfied, the candidate moved to the next round.
Round 3 — Resume and Behavioural Interview
Most questions in this round revolved around:
Projects mentioned on the resume
Technical discussions about those projects
Behavioural questions
After clearing this round, the candidate received the offer.
