Choose the right template for your content

Different resumes have different amounts of content, so one layout may not work for everyone.

Low-content templates work well if you are a student, fresher, or someone with limited experience and fewer projects. These layouts use the available space better so your resume does not look unnecessarily empty.

Bulky templates are better if you have more experience, projects, achievements, certifications, or other content. These templates are designed to fit more information while keeping the resume structured and readable.

The goal is simple: choose a template based on your content, not just how it looks.


Customize font size, spacing and padding

If your resume is slightly too long or too compressed, you don't necessarily need to remove content.

You can adjust:

• Font size — control how large or compact the text appears.

• Section spacing — adjust the space between different resume sections.

• Line/item spacing — control the space between individual entries and bullet points.

• Page padding — adjust the space around the edges of your resume.
